Overview

This section gives access to the key Strategies and Plans that affect the development and regeneration of York and North Yorkshire. It guides you to those documents that will set the context when developing plans, when making funding applications, and also to generally have a greater understanding of the path that the sub-region is taking.

The two main key documents for the York and North Yorkshire sub region are: 

Progress in York and North Yorkshire provides an overview of the economic, social and environmental situation in the York and North Yorkshire sub-region. The report mirrors Progress in the Region which is produced by Yorkshire Futures, the Regional Intelligence Network.  The report  follows the Advancing Together framework and high-level indicators produced by the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly, to provide an up-to-date assessment of the sub-region.

York and North Yorkshire Sub Regional Investment Plan involves bringing together public sector funds in a way that will maximise on the delivery of the Regional Economic Strategy.  It covers a five year time frame and sets out clear economic priorities and details specific projects to meet these priorities.  The Plan is jointly produced and agreed by the sub regional partnership.
