Sub-Regional Investment Plans (SRIP) were launched by Yorkshire Forward in 2003 as a mechanism to join up funding and strategy at a sub-regional level around a set of agreed priorities. The final SRIP document was launched in July 2007 and can be viewed here.

The SPA provides a strategic technical evidence base on six key spatial planning topics including housing, infrastructure, employment land, retail, flood risk, renewable energy, minerals and waste. It provides a summary of current sub-regional challenges that are helping shape the North Yorkshire and York Sub-Regional Strategy.
