Yorkshire Futures: Regional Intelligence Network

The Regional Intelligence Network, based in Yorkshire Forward’s Strategy Unit, includes members from the Regional Assembly, Government Office, Yorkshire and the Humber Universities Association and the Learning and Skills Council.

Its aims will be to:

  1. Develop a single monitoring and evaluation framework for the region’s Regional Economic Strategy and European-funded activities;
  2. Improve measurement of progress to implement the RES and Tier 1, 2 and 3 targets;
  3. Identify and communicate good practice; and
  4. Commission research into the future of the region and sub-regions.

The Regional Intelligence Network produce annually a Progress in the Region report assessing progress against the regions targets and indicators. In addition to this, an annual report is produced including a detailed assessment of progress in each of the sub-regions (Progress in York and North Yorkshire).
